New Testament of the
Holy Bible
"Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without
which no one will see the Lord", (The Holy Bible, Hebrews 12.14)
Positive Psychology Activity
Having faith in all things is also about being grateful for
all things. Life is hard; it is easy enough to sink into that depth of sadness,
anger, and selfishness. Being able to rise above and bring faith and love to
all things is what takes work.
Expressing gratitude is an exercise that just makes your
soul feels good. This activity was designed by Tal Ben-Shahar, Ph.D. Every
night before going to bed write down at least five things that you are grateful
for. (This can be done at any point during the day.) They can be as simple as
the Sun! Studies have shown that people who express gratitude have higher
levels of emotional well-being overall (Ben-Shahar, 2007).
